What I'm Loving Wednesday...

1. Sweet Southern Breeze
I love that I get to lay out with my friend LP and do absolutely nothing all day. The last few days we have planned on laying out at the pool to get a tan (aka sunburn for me). We have had the best time just getting to talk and hangout. I don't know what I am going to do next year when I don't have LP and Harp Harp to hangout with next year....I guess I will be taking many trips up to Desoto County. Oh and here is my new swimsuit that I am very excited about!!!! I hope it looks nice on me.
Asymmetrical ruched bandeau tank

2. Pinterest
This is my new obsession! I have literally spent 2 hours at a time on this site. It is great. It is a site where you can "pin" what you love. For me I always would copy and paste a link of something I really liked and then I would create a new word document. Now thanks to this amazing website I can just pin whatever I want and add it to one of my many boards. I love this and I really hope that some of yall would jump on this band wagon. You have to be invited to this site so just ask around and I am sure that you can find someone you know who had a pinterest account.

3. Children's Books

I know that I may take my job a little too serious but I love being a teacher! I love everything about it and now I love getting ready for my first classroom. I spent over an hour in Barnes and Noble the other day looking for some books for my classroom library. Of course I found the hardback books first...Let me just say that the prices of children's books are absolutely ridiculous. The price of hardback books are double the price of paperback books. For me right now I can't spend that much money on books right now. I found some of my favorites that will hopefully one day end up in my classroom! I cant wait to post pictures of my classroom!

4. Matt and Patty Getting Married!!!!
I just cant believe that one of my best friends just got married this past weekend. I love Matt and Patty so much and I am so happy and excited for them!!!
Love you guys!

What I'm Loving Wednesday...

So LP you better be super proud of my for blogging 2 times in a day! Sorry I have neglected you blog and I will do my best to catch up and show you some lovin.

1. Slow summer days:
As LP can probably tell you I have done nothing very productive with my life this week. Sure I have class from 8-11:30 but after that I have pretty much been a complete bum! This last year has really worn me out and so I have taken it upon myself to reward all my hard work with some me time. The last few days have been so much fun for me. I have come over after class had lunch with LP or Josh and then read or taken a nap until I felt like working on my homework. This is the life! Oh and I am reading Twilight for the 100th time (not really but close) because I can and I just love that story! Me, LP, and Haley all are going to have a Twilight movie day/night this week so if anyone is in Oxford come join us!

2. 4.0 GPA this semester:
So if you know me you know that grades are important to me but they are not my life (aka Josh). I do my best and pray that its good enough. Well this past year I have worked my butt off to get really good grades because it was my last year and boy did it pay off! I got my first 4.0 this past semester!!! Wayne and Beth could not believe it (neither could I really) and they were so proud. Honestly I am just glad that I made them proud with my grades. They have done so much for me and given up a lot for me and my sister to come to Ole Miss so I guess working my butt of for a 4.0 is the least I can do for them.

3. Bridesmaid the movie:
So if you have not seen this movie you have to its seriously one of the funniest movies I have seen in a while. I don't think I stopped laughing the entire time. What is funnier it that I went with one of my best friends Landon and we are in a wedding this June and the character Helen acts just like a girl who is in the wedding with us. Then whole time I was saying to Landon that what Helen did and said sounded like something this girl would say or do. I really think all girls should go see it because more than likely we will all be bridesmaids at least once in our lifetimes (4 for me so far...). Guys should too because they get to see the stupid crap girls have to deal with in a wedding.

I am officially a grown up....yikes!

Well I just found out today that I will be the new 2nd grade teacher at StoneBridge Elementary back home in Brandon. WOW I have no idea what to think. I am nervous, excited, shocked all at the same time. I also feel kind of guilty too. So many people I love don't have jobs yet and I just don't know what to say. All of my room mates are Elementary Education majors too and so far only two of us have found jobs. I know that Lauren and Haley will be some of the most outstanding teachers this state has ever seen and I pray that they find a job that they will love. I honestly feel so lucky to have this great job at the school of my dreams but I just don't understand why me? Why is it that I have gotten exactly what I wanted but some of my best friends haven't? Josh made a 4.0 in the MBA program this year and he still has not found anything yet. How is this fair? He is one of the smartest most dedicated people I know and why is it that he has not found a job yet? Or Haley and Lauren for that matter. They both are amazing people and are some the most creative and loving teachers I have ever met. I have to just wonder why people like this do not have jobs yet while I have been so blessed? I am not saying by any means that I would want to give up my job or anything like that I just feel some what guilty for having everything I want in a job. I know that they will find jobs and that they all will do amazing at them I just don't see how people right of college get jobs. Is it really the GPA and all the clubs your apart of that matter or does it really come down to who you know?

Finally Here....

So I can honestly say I never thought that this day would get here. Over the last few months I have been waiting and waiting for my 10 day lesson plan to be over and today it is. My university supervisor made her last observation today!!!!! I have stressed out about this for so long and for it to finally be over is just amazing. I finally feel like I am about to graduate a month from tomorrow (scary). So here are some things that I am loving right now and some things that I have just fell in love with...hope you enjoy!
1. Easter Candy:
So as you can imagine I have been staying up a lot the last few weeks. Well I had a lot of help from some Diet Cokes and Starburst Jelly Beans, Robin Eggs, M&M's and pretty much any other kind of candy at my house. So thank you wonderful candy for the extra pounds and helping me survive the last few weeks!

2. Laughing

So if you have not been around me in the last few weeks here is some news. I have been to the ER because of chest pains. I have also sprained my foot while trying to dance...lets just say I have not had the best luck with my health lately. Through all this crap though I have realized that the best thing to do is laugh. I have had the most amazing people around me who have really helped me get through everything and all along the way they have made me laugh. Thanks to everyone who has been my support team...you all mean so much to me.

3. Houmas House

So I know that I will never get to go to Old South (because I am WAY too old now) but it was always my dream to go before I graduate. Well I was looking at pictures on Facebook of all th girls who went and I saw the house they go to every year. I am now completely obsessed with it. The Houmas House is right outside New Orleans. I have now decided that this would be the perfect place for a southern wedding. So just get ready this may be where I get married in 10 years lol. I really hope that I get to have a wedding at a place this beautiful...I mean how could you not fall in love with this amazing place? So friends I hope yall would not mind driving 45 minutes from New Orleans.

Lazy Sunday afternoon

So today is my first real day of Spring Break and it was great. Me and my sister woke up late so we missed church...mom and dad were not thrilled with that but it was nice to sleep in. To make up for missing church though I made lunch for the family...Well I put in some popcorn chicken and fries in the oven. This is our usual Sunday lunch. Delicious I know. Well after we ate and watched some TV together we did what we do almost every Sunday...shop!

My mom had to look for some more work clothes. We are all so proud of her getting her new job!!!! We also had to go get my dad some new dress shoes and walking shoes so me and Becca decided to tag along. Once we got done with mom and dad's shopping we went to look for some shoes for Becca and I desperately needed some new perfume. Becca ended up not finding  anything she really wanted so she came and helped me find some new perfume. Since I stared wearing perfume I have always used Ralph Lauren Romance...Its amazing and I always get complements on it! Well this time I wanted to try something a little different. We went to all the counters and we found the perfect one! Its the Marc Jacobs Daisy. I am absolutely obsessed with the bottle lol.

After the perfume and shoe shopping we went to Becca's favorite store Material Girls in Brandon. When we came in we found a lot of great dresses. I fell in LOVE with this dress and my mom bought it for me to wear to KD formal in April. I am just obsessed with it....I hope that everyone loves it as much as I do.
I cant wait for April 1st to come here!!!!
Well I hope everyone has had a great day and I will be able to blog a lot more this week because its SPRING BREAK!!!!!!

Lauren Patton's Sayings...

So I just got finished creating my very own Twitter account which was challenging lol. Well while sitting here in the living room with Haley, Willie, and Lauren and we are all talking about who I should follow. Of course I had to follow R.Pattinson. Well while we are doing this Haley yells out "Baby Jesus"...LP goes on to say, "What? Does he have a twitter too? Where have I been?" Thank you LP for making this night even better. Love you all lol!!!

Oh What a Day....

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters
So of course Monday's are usually everyones least favorite day of the week because its the first day back to work. Well today was my 1st of 10 days to take over my student teaching class. I can honestly say that I was completely overwhelmed but I did my best to contain that and make the best out of the situation. I constantly   had my teacher breathing down my neck this morning which only made  me more nervous about today. As the day wore on though she became more helpful then bossy. I could tell that this is just as hard for her as it is for me. I guess after years of having your own way of teaching it is difficult to let some one new come in and try to take over. I can say that today I saw for the first time my teacher trying her best to help me in my journey to becoming a great teacher.

Well after a long long day at school I still had a lot to do. I have to write, outline, and present three speeches and post them on YouTube by Friday. I have two test this week on Wednesday and Thursday plus a speech/presentation on Thursday. Lets just say that this is one of the busiest weeks of the semester but I am not freaking out too much. I dont know if it is because last semester pretty much numbed me to stressful situations or if it is because I have seniorities? (its real believe me) Well instead of stressing I am taking a little break to catch up on blogging tonight.

Well here are some of my random things I am thinking/ loving right now:
1. My Canon Rebel EOS
This camera has been amazing. I have been able to take some of the most wonderful pictures on this camera that I would not have been able to do with any other camera. I want to say a BIG thank you to my parents who bought this for me for Christmas....I truly love it and hopefully I am getting your moneys worth lol! Here are some pictures I got to take at a wedding I went to in Texas this weekend. This is one of Josh's best friends Ryan and his beautiful bride Hannah on their big day...plus some funny ones of me and Josh.

This is Josh and one of his best friends Tanner.

These are Josh's best friends. Ryan is the one on the far left.
(They are all crazy)

Here is Hannah and the boys.

Ryan always seemed to know when I was taking pictures of him.

You could really tell that these two people were madly in love!

Here is Josh with the Tiger outside a Gas station...Only at LSU. Hotty Toddy!!!!

Me and the Tiger...GTH LSU.

Well thats about all I have time for tonight but I hope to get better at posting more blogs!!
