Finally Here....

So I can honestly say I never thought that this day would get here. Over the last few months I have been waiting and waiting for my 10 day lesson plan to be over and today it is. My university supervisor made her last observation today!!!!! I have stressed out about this for so long and for it to finally be over is just amazing. I finally feel like I am about to graduate a month from tomorrow (scary). So here are some things that I am loving right now and some things that I have just fell in love with...hope you enjoy!
1. Easter Candy:
So as you can imagine I have been staying up a lot the last few weeks. Well I had a lot of help from some Diet Cokes and Starburst Jelly Beans, Robin Eggs, M&M's and pretty much any other kind of candy at my house. So thank you wonderful candy for the extra pounds and helping me survive the last few weeks!

2. Laughing

So if you have not been around me in the last few weeks here is some news. I have been to the ER because of chest pains. I have also sprained my foot while trying to dance...lets just say I have not had the best luck with my health lately. Through all this crap though I have realized that the best thing to do is laugh. I have had the most amazing people around me who have really helped me get through everything and all along the way they have made me laugh. Thanks to everyone who has been my support team...you all mean so much to me.

3. Houmas House

So I know that I will never get to go to Old South (because I am WAY too old now) but it was always my dream to go before I graduate. Well I was looking at pictures on Facebook of all th girls who went and I saw the house they go to every year. I am now completely obsessed with it. The Houmas House is right outside New Orleans. I have now decided that this would be the perfect place for a southern wedding. So just get ready this may be where I get married in 10 years lol. I really hope that I get to have a wedding at a place this beautiful...I mean how could you not fall in love with this amazing place? So friends I hope yall would not mind driving 45 minutes from New Orleans.

Lazy Sunday afternoon

So today is my first real day of Spring Break and it was great. Me and my sister woke up late so we missed church...mom and dad were not thrilled with that but it was nice to sleep in. To make up for missing church though I made lunch for the family...Well I put in some popcorn chicken and fries in the oven. This is our usual Sunday lunch. Delicious I know. Well after we ate and watched some TV together we did what we do almost every Sunday...shop!

My mom had to look for some more work clothes. We are all so proud of her getting her new job!!!! We also had to go get my dad some new dress shoes and walking shoes so me and Becca decided to tag along. Once we got done with mom and dad's shopping we went to look for some shoes for Becca and I desperately needed some new perfume. Becca ended up not finding  anything she really wanted so she came and helped me find some new perfume. Since I stared wearing perfume I have always used Ralph Lauren Romance...Its amazing and I always get complements on it! Well this time I wanted to try something a little different. We went to all the counters and we found the perfect one! Its the Marc Jacobs Daisy. I am absolutely obsessed with the bottle lol.

After the perfume and shoe shopping we went to Becca's favorite store Material Girls in Brandon. When we came in we found a lot of great dresses. I fell in LOVE with this dress and my mom bought it for me to wear to KD formal in April. I am just obsessed with it....I hope that everyone loves it as much as I do.
I cant wait for April 1st to come here!!!!
Well I hope everyone has had a great day and I will be able to blog a lot more this week because its SPRING BREAK!!!!!!

Lauren Patton's Sayings...

So I just got finished creating my very own Twitter account which was challenging lol. Well while sitting here in the living room with Haley, Willie, and Lauren and we are all talking about who I should follow. Of course I had to follow R.Pattinson. Well while we are doing this Haley yells out "Baby Jesus"...LP goes on to say, "What? Does he have a twitter too? Where have I been?" Thank you LP for making this night even better. Love you all lol!!!

Oh What a Day....

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters
So of course Monday's are usually everyones least favorite day of the week because its the first day back to work. Well today was my 1st of 10 days to take over my student teaching class. I can honestly say that I was completely overwhelmed but I did my best to contain that and make the best out of the situation. I constantly   had my teacher breathing down my neck this morning which only made  me more nervous about today. As the day wore on though she became more helpful then bossy. I could tell that this is just as hard for her as it is for me. I guess after years of having your own way of teaching it is difficult to let some one new come in and try to take over. I can say that today I saw for the first time my teacher trying her best to help me in my journey to becoming a great teacher.

Well after a long long day at school I still had a lot to do. I have to write, outline, and present three speeches and post them on YouTube by Friday. I have two test this week on Wednesday and Thursday plus a speech/presentation on Thursday. Lets just say that this is one of the busiest weeks of the semester but I am not freaking out too much. I dont know if it is because last semester pretty much numbed me to stressful situations or if it is because I have seniorities? (its real believe me) Well instead of stressing I am taking a little break to catch up on blogging tonight.

Well here are some of my random things I am thinking/ loving right now:
1. My Canon Rebel EOS
This camera has been amazing. I have been able to take some of the most wonderful pictures on this camera that I would not have been able to do with any other camera. I want to say a BIG thank you to my parents who bought this for me for Christmas....I truly love it and hopefully I am getting your moneys worth lol! Here are some pictures I got to take at a wedding I went to in Texas this weekend. This is one of Josh's best friends Ryan and his beautiful bride Hannah on their big day...plus some funny ones of me and Josh.

This is Josh and one of his best friends Tanner.

These are Josh's best friends. Ryan is the one on the far left.
(They are all crazy)

Here is Hannah and the boys.

Ryan always seemed to know when I was taking pictures of him.

You could really tell that these two people were madly in love!

Here is Josh with the Tiger outside a Gas station...Only at LSU. Hotty Toddy!!!!

Me and the Tiger...GTH LSU.

Well thats about all I have time for tonight but I hope to get better at posting more blogs!!

Top Two Tuesdays....Top 2 LP sayings of the day

So tonights Blog is going to be dedicated to my room mate Lauren because tonight she has made my day with her sayings....Sorry LP don't be too mad with me.

1. " Gurth"
This was Lauren's new made up word for dry heaving. We were talking about when you get sick and nothing comes up ( yeah I know really gross) and she said "Is that when you gurth?" I literally was rolling on the floor laughing. She is the only one who could say something that ridiculous and make my day that much better. Thanks Lauren for putting up with me coming in  your room every 10 min while you are being "productive". You are great and I really love how your silly sayings make me laugh and forget all about my problems.
2. "I NEED A JOB"
So Lauren,Alica, and me are all applying to the same school district which has an online application. For almost all of the applications we are filling out you have to have a username and a password. Well I have written all of mine down so I don't forget them but some people like Lauren have not. Well like usual all four of us are in her room talking and hanging out like always. Lauren is trying her best to be productive (which means blog and do homework at the same time). She was trying to work on an application too well when she went to log in she had forgotten her password. She sat there for a few minutes trying to remember it but couldn't. The rest of us start to continue on in a conversation and in the middle of it Lauren yells out "I NEED A JOB" then proceeds to cover up her mouth. It was one of the most random things she has done...today. Thanks LP for finding new ways to remember passwords while also enjoying filling out long applications. What am I going to do without all of yall next year?

Who Doesn't Love Snow Days

One:
So what I am loving right now is SNOW. Living in Mississippi my entire life I have rarely had snow days. I remember having snow but it was never enough to miss school. Well today I officially got my first snow day. I still had to wake up early and go to school but by 9:00 they were already asking classrooms to go and get their sack lunches. So needless to say I got to leave very early. By the time I left around 12:40 every square inch was covered. Of course Joshua is sick and asked me to go get him some things from the store since I was already out. Well it took me 20 min to get to Kroger and then another 20 just to get some orange juice, hot chocolate, and some frozen pizzas. Well by the time I got home I was freezing and very tired but I was so happy that it was snowing that I really didn't care.

Two:
I love having moments that remind you of your crazy family. Tonight after sledding we all came in and like usual I couldn't find my phone. Then I got a text message and I realized that is was in my shirt pocket. This reminded me of my sweet Memaw who always keeps her cell phone in her bra. It is one of the funniest things to see and I always think it is so funny when she loses it and then realized that she has placed it on the opposite side of her bra instead of her usual spot. So today I had a Memaw moment and it made me smile.

Three:
I really loved getting to spend most of the day just relaxing and watching TV with my sweet boyfriend. We just got to hang out and do nothing which we never get to do. It was really nice just having time to sit and talk and catch up. So thank you for the snow God I got to relax and spend some time with Josh.

What I'm Loving Wednesday...

One:
I am absolutely loving doing random Zumba workout videos with my roomie Haley! Having a chance to burn off some steam and having a good laugh about how stupid we both look. Loving Lady Gaga's Bad Romance...Classic! Whoever created Zumba thank you! You just made my day just that much better!!!

Two:
I am loving Jade Is The New Black!!!! You have to have this color in your OPI collection. It is really not that bright of a green so really anyone can pull it off I promise! It is my new favorite polish and I will be sporting it for quite a while.
Three:
I love how I feel like a freshmen again by eating the Union. Chick-fi-la with a couple of fellow student teachers makes for one exciting dinner. Thanks Whitney and Lauren for listening to me rant and rave about my student teaching problems and giving me some advice! I know I can always count on other student teachers to understand exactly what I am going through.

Four:
So I am kind of obsessed with my new nook color! I have been reading Wuthering Heights right now on it and my next read will be Water for Elephants. This is by far one of the best Birthday presents I have ever gotten. I love how easy it is to sit down with it and just read or get on the internet. I also love all the free books they have. I just bought a new book about the 5 love languages which I have heard so many people say it is a great book for couples so I guess I will see how it helps me and Josh.

Five:

"The best thing to hold onto in life is each other"-Audrey Hepburn. This quote has been in all of my rooms since I was a freshmen but not till really now has it really meant a great deal to me. I have relied so much on my roomates for support and love and they are always there for me. They are some of the best friends anyone could ever ask for and honestly I do not know what I am going to do without them. Each of them brings a different aspect into my life and I am just so lucky to have these three girls(and Harper) in my life especially right now when I feel so overwhelmed with school and life. Thank you girls you mean the world to me!!

Six:
So apparently I am a little late to be getting on the Etsy bandwagon but I am so obsessed with this site! It has the most unique things on here. I have found so many amazing things on Etsy I could spend hours looking through the entire site. For Christmas I bought my sister some gorgeous earrings and for Josh's Birthday I have found somethings I hope he will love. Seriously if you are looking for a unique gift or you just want something that everyone with be envious of go to Etsy and you will find whatever you are looking for!
